The Administration recommends the Board of Education ratify and authorize the execution and performance of the amended contract by The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, subject to funding, as follows:

To ratify the expired contract and provide a time adjustment for the provision of general construction services at the Edwin M. Stanton Elementary School.

Renewal Options:




The Office of Capital Programs has identified a need to extend the period of time for this project, to successfully close out the above referenced contract, due to the following needing to be finalized:


  1. As-Built drawing review and acceptance

  2. Operation, maintenance and warranty  manual review and acceptance

  3. Commissioning and training for facilities and maintenance personnel

  4. Punch list items

  5. Retainage and payments

Success will be measured by the ability to close the project by December 31, 2023.
