 Description:

The Office of Capital Programs has identified a need for increased funding for the current moving contract as a result of packing, transportation, and storage requirements that developed after the contract was awarded on February 24, 2022. The projected costs of moving and storage expenses related to the major renovation projects at Anderson, Blankenburg, Bregy, Carnell, Cramp,  Houston, Longstreth, Sheridan, and Vare Washington Schools will exceed the contract amount currently authorized by approximately $500,000. Additionally, the FY24 moving expenses associated with the “swing space” relocations of William Dick Elementary School, Thomas Holme School, Thomas M. Pierce School, and AMY 5 at James Martin School will require the increased funding.

Guardrail 1 – Every school will be a safe, welcoming, and healthy place where our students, staff and community want to be and learn each day.
