| | | | | | | | | Description:
The Department of Transportation Services is seeking a continuation of the contract with SEON Design Corporation. COMPASS is SEON’s proprietary Transportation Routing System that is used to determine eligibility requirements for student transportation. COMPASS is an essential requirement used to create routes, and determine the transportation mode for eligible students (i.e. bus, SEPTA Fare Cards). The District seeks to increase the annual contract by $225,000 for FY24 to support yearly maintenance costs and project enhancements, such as route optimization software and customized reports. SEON is responsive and in compliance with its current contract. The success of the contract is measured by the District’s continued effectiveness in managing student transportation eligibility requirements and the ability to make customized enhancements and reports as needed. This amendment directly supports the Board of Education's Guardrail 1: Welcoming and Supportive Schools. Every school will be a safe, welcoming, and healthy place where our students, staff, and community want to be and learn each day.
