 The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform a contract, subject to funding, as follows:

To support and manage the Recruitment team during hiring season

 Description:

This contract is needed to support and manage the Recruitment team within the Office of Talent during the hiring season. A leader of the Recruitment team recently left the District. The Office of Talent is left with a leadership vacancy during a critical time of recruitment which requires the expertise of someone who has worked in education and can lead aspects of the recruitment work during the search for a permanent replacement. Filling this void with a contractor until a permanent leader focused on recruitment can be hired is critical. In this current job market and with the District's hiring needs, we need a skilled expert to maintain and improve further our recruitment strategies and implementation of the work.

 

This contract will support all Goals and Guardrails by identifying and hiring critical staff members to implement our work across schools and central office. The success of this contract will be measured by the feedback provided by the recruitment team on their level of support, along with the provision of clear metrics that demonstrate the recruitment goals and the District's progress toward succeeding on those goals.
