| | | | | | | | | Description:
HIREtech, an Equifax company, offers innovative technology that that will reduce our in-house processing, ensure timely filing with the state and provide enhanced audit review to ensure we only pay valid claims.
The District processed over 2,000 unemployment claims in the past year and requires a third-party administrator to ensure accurate filing and monitoring of claims payment by the state.
Ensuring that unemployment is only paid when appropriate ensures that budget dollars are preserved for salary for staff to work toward all four of the guardrail initiatives.
HireTech is a new vendor replacing the current vendor. The on-line technology they offer was a compelling reason for us to change vendors. Success will be measured by the number of claims successfully responded to in a timely manner and the number of hearings that are determined in the District’s favor. Our evaluation of the services will be based on the win rate for our appealed cases and the ability to limit overall claim liability.
