 Description:

The Office of Capital Programs requests a time extension and additional funding for the supplemental professional architectural design contract. The additional time and funding are necessary to complete the work, which was delayed due to setbacks and delays related to the pandemic and the Covid-19 restrictions beginning in the spring of 2020. The amendment will allow for the completion of  the required design documentation and permitting for projects identified in the approved Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Each contract will include funding to initiate design services for architectural projects. To expedite this process, utilization of a pool of qualified firms is the most efficient way for the District to complete design activities in order to meet the project timelines. The approved firms’ services will be evaluated based on their ability to meet project milestones and remain within the approved budget. The work is in support of the Operations goal of providing safe, healthy and welcoming learning environments all students.
