| | The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform a Memorandum of Understanding, as follows:

This action will enable the School District to provide on-site employee COVID-19 testing capabilities to ensure a layered strategy to increase safety for students and staff. The District’s decisions on protocols and procedures for testing are informed by recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as well as other public health and medical professionals with whom we’ve consulted. No charges will be billed to the District directly as all costs will be sent through medical insurance.
