Description:
The Office of Facilities Management and Services has identified a need for a reliable source for programming unit ventilators (univents). In order to meet the ventilation requirements to support the supply of outside air due to COVID-19, it is necessary to reprogram 544 unit ventilators. There are nine schools that have existing Tozour-Trane univents which operate on a proprietary software platform. School District personnel does not currently have the ability and capacity to reprogram these univents prior to the in-person learning timeline. This purchase was reviewed by the Office of Procurement Services and deemed an emergency procurement necessary to ready schools for operation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
