The Board has received calls from individuals across the City to adopt a Black Lives Matter Week of Action. This call to action aligns with the Board's emphasis on equity and anti-racism across all facets of teaching, learning, and operations.
Attached is a proposed resolution for Board discussion which encourages the District to participate in the week of action and identifies key issues the Board shall monitor once it adopts its Goals and Guardrails.
