| The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform a contract, subject to funding, as follows:

| | | | | | | | | Description: The Office of Facilities Management and Services has identified a need to perform a contract for the procurement of stage and window curtains used in District school auditoriums. Facilities Management responds to the ongoing needs of schools with respect to this commodity, and every year prioritizes a certain number of schools for curtain replacement. Prices for curtains depend heavily on the unique needs of each school site, therefore, upon recognition of a need, specifications will be sent to each authorized vendor, from the cooperative contracts COSTARS program, and the vendor who can fulfill those specifications for the lowest cost will be selected.
