| | | | | | | | | Description:
The Office of Capital Programs identified a need for additional design services for the Ben Franklin/SLA High School major renovation project. The additional work was guided by key considerations and meetings with the Ben Franklin/SLA "task force" and the Office of Capital Programs. The additional design scope of services includes the design of renovation of all toilet rooms, locker rooms and air conditioning for the gymnasium. As a result of these meetings, the District requested Stantec to make revisions to the drawings above and beyond the services identified in the original contract. The additional design service fee and hours proposed were reviewed and negotiated to an amount deemed appropriate for the additional design scope added. Staff from the Office of Capital Programs will review each submission and provide comments to ensure compliance with the District's Building Design and Technical Standards.
