| | | | | | | | | Description:
With approximately 300 District-owned or managed facilities, the Office of Environmental Management & Services (OEMS) has a critical need to better collect, organize, and manage the environmental condition data of these buildings, in real-time, as survey data is collected, mitigation efforts are achieved, and new hazards are identified and/or reported. The District conducted a competitive solicitation in search of a web-based Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) solution that would allow the District to holistically manage the process from room-by-room inspection through data entry and enabling the ability to analyze and report out on the status of facility conditions. If approved, Donesafe, a Health & Safety Institute Company, will provide the District with a proven cloud-based EHS platform to allow our OEMS staff to better track building-level conditions and compliance to include asbestos monitoring, abatement and AHERA programs, mold assessment and remediation management, water quality management, and lead paint management. Donesafe will work directly with OEMS and the District's Office of Information Technology to implement the EHS solution inclusive of loading historical data, configuring the system, building reports and workflows, and training staff in the use of the service as well as a mobile data collection tool.
