The Office of Capital Programs has identified a need for roof replacement projects at six schools. These projects are included in the adopted FY20 Capital Budget. These projects are necessary to ensure continued safe and warm learning environments. Capital Programs has obtained a proposal and pricing to perform the work via the competitively bid KPN cooperative contract. The contractor will remove the current roofs and components down to the deck, and replace with new materials. The roof installation comes with a limited 30-year warranty. Repair of the roof allows Capital Programs to support Operation's goal to provide safe, reliable and efficient learning environments for students. Completion of the project is expected by June of 2021.
