| The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform a contract, subject to funding, as follows:

| | | | | | | | | Description:
The Department of Transportation Services provides weekly TransPasses to approximately 65,000 students based on eligibility requirements. This action item authorizes the purchase of TransPasses for the 2020-21 school year. SEPTA requires the District to place orders for Transpasses at least two months in advance of delivery so their vendor has sufficient time to fulfill the order. The Student TransPass is valid during school hours and is priced at a 25% discount rate to the District. Contracting with SEPTA will allow the District to achieve its goal of providing safe, effective and efficient transportation for eligible Philadelphia students.
The District will be reimbursed for any unused Transpasses if current travel restrictions continue into the new school year.
