	The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform separate contracts with the lowest responsible bidders, subject to funding, as follows:

Description:
The adopted Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for FY2020 includes funding to renovate 147 classrooms at 11 schools in support of the District's stated goal to ensure 100% of 8 year olds are reading at grade level. These renovations will create learning environments to support educational program delivery within the literacy based instructional program. The approval of the construction contracts will ensure that classrooms are ready for students and teachers for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year. All projects were publicly advertised and the lowest responsible bidders are recommended for contract award.
