 Description:
The Department of Facilities Management and Services has identified a need to utilize contractors to address maintenance and repair needs in schools. These services will be across various trades and include installation of new flooring, painting and carpentry, including repairs and replacement of doors, windows, ceilings, walls and to support with small to mid-size renovation projects. Work will be prioritized using work order and environmental data. This amendment seeks to add additional contractors to the General Services Contract agreement, increase funding  for contractors and extend the end date of the contract agreements. All contractors will provide a proposed scope of work and are required to submit their pricing, schedule and hours for approval by Facilities Management. All of the contractors will be monitored by a Maintenance Supervisor based on the schedule submitted in accordance with the project. A final quality control walk-through will be conducted with the school's Principal, Maintenance department personnel and Facilities Area Coordinators.  These services will support the Division of Operations goal to provide 100% of students with a safe, healthy and welcoming learning environment.
