 The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform a contract, subject to funding, as follows:

Contractor for window repairs

 Description:

The Department of Facilities Management and Services has identified a need for a contractor to supplement glass repairs in schools.  Authorizing this contractor allows the department to respond to unexpected glass repair needs in a timely manner. The contractor will be responsible for providing a schedule and cost estimate to the Maintenance department prior to the start of work. Completion of repairs will be verified by the Building Engineer and Maintenance supervisor.  Additionally, a final quality control walk-through will be conducted with the Principal and FAC prior to approving invoices for payment. These services will support the Division of Operations' goal of providing 100% of students with a safe, healthy and welcoming learning environment.
