| The Administration recommends that the Board of Education authorize The School District of Philadelphia, through the Superintendent or his designee, to execute and perform a contract, subject to funding, as follows:

| | | | | | | | | Description: The Department of Facilities Management and Services has identified a need for external contractors for locksmith services. The Department currently employs four (4) locksmiths to address an average of 3,800 lock repair work-orders each year. By contracting with the recommended vendors, the Department will have additional support to provide timely repairs and address security and safety in all school buildings. Vendors will be monitored by a Maintenance supervisor. A final quality control walk-through will be conducted with the school's leadership alongside engineering and maintenance personnel. This work supports the Operations' goal of providing 100% of students with a safe, healthy, and welcoming learning environment.
